The invention discloses a three-dimensional parking garage and a parking method. The parking method comprises the steps that a to-be-parked vehicle is detected to judge the type of the to-be-parked vehicle; if the to-be-parked vehicle meets the first preset type, the to-be-parked vehicle is parked to a first parking space through a vehicle carrying device; and if the to-be-parked vehicle meets the second preset type, a driver is prompted to park the to-be-parked vehicle to a second parking space. According to the scheme, the three-dimensional parking garage can be used for parking various different types of vehicles, so that the utilization efficiency of the three-dimensional parking garage is improved.
