The invention relates to a self-resetting steel structure beam column joint capable of consuming energy in stages. Stiffening rib connecting pieces are mounted on the upper portion and the lower portion of the joint of each H-shaped steel beam and an H-shaped steel column; each stiffening rib connecting piece comprises angle steel and a vertical stiffening rib; and a web of each H-shaped steel column serves as a symmetry plane, and a shape memory alloy long screw vertically penetrates through a short limb of the angle steel and a flange of the corresponding H-shaped steel column in sequence on the same side of the symmetry plane. The self-resetting steel structure beam column joint further comprises a plurality of pieces of channel steel; the waist of each piece of channel steel is tightly attached to the web of the corresponding H-shaped steel beam and connected with the web of the corresponding H-shaped steel beam through a high-strength bolt; one end of each piece of channel steel is connected with the flange of the corresponding H-shaped steel column; and a U-shaped metal damper is arranged between the outer side wall of a leg of each piece of channel steel and the inner side wall of the flange of the adjacent H-shaped steel beam. According to the joint, the self-resetting function of the joint under the earthquake action can be achieved through the superelasticity of the shape memory alloy long screws, the preset target of dissipating earthquake energy in stages can be achieved through the shape memory alloy long screws and the U-shaped metal dampers, meanwhile, damaged components can be rapidly dismounted and replaced after an earthquake, and repairability is achieved.
