The invention discloses a production method for preparing high-added-value microporous ceramic from coal gangue in the industry of comprehensive utilization of industrial solid wastes. The method comprises the following steps of: separating high-silicon and high-aluminum raw materials by adopting a selective crushing process, adding a cross-linking agent, a dispersing agent, an initiator and water to form slurry, mixing a foaming agent-polyurethane AB two-component prepolymer with the slurry, and carrying out ball milling, foaming, gelling, drying, sintering and the like to obtain the microporous ceramic. The microporous ceramic has the characteristics of high apparent porosity, high compression strength, stable performance and the like. The microporous ceramic prepared by the method has the advantages of oxidation resistance, high temperature resistance, good adsorption performance and the like, and is wide in application and high in market value.
