The invention provides a prefabricated interlocking block slope protection system suitable for the downstream dam slope of a silt dam. The prefabricated interlocking block slope protection system comprises a slope protection body, wherein the slope protection body comprises geotechnical cloth which is laid on the downstream dam slope surface of the silt dam and a plurality of prefabricated blocks which are laid on the geotechnical cloth, and the plurality of prefabricated blocks are mutually interlocked and extend along the longitudinal direction and the vertical direction of the downstream slope surface of a dam body so as to form an interlocked integral slope protection structure. The prefabricated interlocking block slope protection system is used for the downstream slope surface of the silt dam, so that water passing of the silt dam is realized, and the problem that over-standard flood easily breaks the dam can be effectively solved. Due to the unique shape of the prefabricated blocks, the whole slope protection has certain flexibility and can adapt to differential settlement and local deformation of the dam body; and the slope protection structure has super-strong interlocking property, so that the overall stability of the slope protection structure is guaranteed. The flip bucket on the upper surface of prefabricated block webs has the effect of step energy dissipation, so that the flow velocity of discharged water flow is reduced, and scouring to the slope surface is reduced. The geotechnical cloth is laid on the lower layer of the prefabricated block slope protection, so that the effects of inverted filtration and drainage can be achieved, and stabilization of the dam slope is facilitated.
