The invention relates to the field of building materials, and provides a method for manufacturing a porcelainized plate by using vermiculite. The method comprises the following steps: inputting raw ore vermiculite; roasting the raw ore vermiculite to obtain expanded vermiculite; and mixing a water-based binder into the expanded vermiculite, and carrying out compression molding to obtain the vermiculite ceramic plate. The water-based binder is mixed before the expanded vermiculite is subjected to compression molding, so that the highest use temperature of the product can be increased as much as possible, for example, the highest use temperature can be increased to 1200 DEG C.
