A railway standard gauge detection vehicle comprises a walking trolley and a prism measuring device, the prism measuring device comprises a prism rod, a mounting base, a pressing plate and a limiting plate, the left end of the mounting base is arranged on the pressing plate, a spring is arranged between the left end surface of the mounting base and the pressing plate, and a first rolling bearing is arranged at the bottom of the left end of the mounting base; the first rolling bearing is in contact with the inner surface of a right steel rail, the right end of the mounting base is arranged on the limiting plate, a second rolling bearing located on the outer side of the right steel rail is arranged at the bottom of the right end of the mounting base, a knuckle bearing is arranged at the position, located on the edge of the first rolling bearing, of the mounting base, and a prism bar connector is inserted into the knuckle bearing; and the prism bar connector is connected with a prism through a prism bar, a universal support is connected between the prism bar and the walking trolley, and a universal ball bearing making contact with the top surface of the right steel rail is arranged at the bottom of the mounting base. The design has the advantages of high measurement precision, high working efficiency and low cost.
