The invention discloses a processing method of a ceramic rock plate, wherein the processing method comprises the steps: (1) providing a ceramic rock plate powder material, and carrying out compression molding on the ceramic rock plate powder material to obtain a ceramic rock plate blank body; (2) decorating the ceramic rock plate blank body; (3) firing the decorated ceramic rock plate blank body to obtain a ceramic rock plate semi-finished product; and (4) cutting the ceramic rock plate semi-finished product to obtain a ceramic rock plate finished product. When the ceramic rock plate semi-finished product is cut, firstly, a first cutting knife is adopted to mark out a cutting groove along the edge of a to-be-cut area, and then a second cutting knife is adopted to cut through the ceramic rock plate semi-finished product along the cutting groove; and the ratio of the depth of the cutting groove to the thickness of the ceramic rock plate semi-finished product is (3-5):10. By implementing the method, the cutting crack occurrence probability of the ceramic rock plate can be effectively reduced.
