The ecological frame structure is of a rectangular frame structure and is provided with two prefabricated battens I and two prefabricated battens II which are arranged on the side, tenons are arranged at the two ends of each prefabricated batten I, mortise grooves are formed in the two ends of each prefabricated batten II, the two mortise grooves which are in horizontal butt joint are perpendicularly matched with the two tenons which are in horizontal butt joint, the prefabricated battens I and the prefabricated battens II which are perpendicularly adjacent are connected through mortise and tenon joint structures, and long kidney-shaped holes extending in the thickness direction of the prefabricated battens are formed in the prefabricated battens. The invention further discloses a bank slope protection structure adopting the assembly type ecological frame structure. Compared with an overall prefabricated structure of the same size, under the same condition, the cultivated soil containing amount, the water and soil conservation condition and the plant growth condition are consistent, construction is convenient, the structure ecological effect and construction convenience can be considered, and the assembly type ecological frame structure and the bank slope protection structure are particularly suitable for expansive soil slopes, non-flat slopes and areas where mechanical construction cannot be adopted.
