The invention relates to a silent mortise lock body which comprises a buckling box assembly mounted on a door frame and a lock body assembly mounted on a door plate, wherein a first adsorption part is arranged on the buckling box assembly, a second adsorption part is arranged on the lock body assembly, the first adsorption part and the second adsorption part attract each other in a magnetic attraction mode, and when a door is closed, a gap exists between the buckling box assembly and the lock body assembly. The silent mortise lock body has the effect of reducing noises generated by the door lock when the door is closed.
