The adapter comprises a main joint body, the main joint body is provided with a main water inlet end and a main water outlet end, a main water passage which is communicated with the main water inlet end and the main water outlet end is arranged between the main water inlet end and the main water outlet end, and a cylindrical filter device is arranged in the main water passage; a stop baffle disc which is in threaded connection with the main water outlet end or is integrally formed with the main water outlet end is arranged below the main water outlet end, the stop baffle disc is downwards provided with a connecting part, the outer side of the connecting part is sleeved with a sealing sleeve, and the upper portion of the sealing sleeve extends outwards to form an outer circle part with the outer diameter not smaller than that of the stop baffle disc; and the main water inlet end is connected with a secondary connector body or directly connected with a close-fitting connector, and the close-fitting connector is connected with an outlet of the lower drain pipe in a close-fitting manner. According to the adapter of the lower drain pipe, effective sealing and fixed connection between the lower drain pipe and a floor drain or a sewer pipe can be achieved, connector expansion and impurity filtering can be facilitated, the long-time drainage requirement of multiple lower drain pipes is met, and the adapter has the advantage of being simple and practical in structure.
