The water diversion system for the lower-level power station of the cascade hydropower station can effectively utilize the natural flow of a riverway interval between an upstream cascade dam site and a downstream cascade dam site to increase the generating capacity and can effectively reduce the scale of a downstream sand basin. The water diversion system comprises a tail water output structure of an upper-level power station, and further comprises a lower-level power station water inlet, a lower-level power station water diversion tunnel and a water supplementing structure; the water supplementing structure is arranged on a downstream riverway; and water flow output by the tail water output structure of the upper-level power station and water flow output by the water supplementing structure are input into the lower-level power station water diversion tunnel through the lower-level power station water inlet.
