The invention discloses a closed cavity type curtain wall system. The closed cavity type curtain wall system comprises a keel, a curtain wall plate, a pressing plate and a locking bolt, wherein a boss extending out of the outline of a keel body is formed on the bearing face of the keel; a closed section is arranged between the outline of the keel body and the outline of the boss, wherein the closed section enables the bearing faces on the two sides of the boss to form a continuous face and guarantees that an inner cavity of the outline of the keel body is a closed cavity; the curtain wall plate is borne on the bearing face of the keel; the pressing plate is arranged on the curtain wall plate in a pressing mode; the locking bolt is arranged on the pressing plate in a penetrating mode and connected with the boss in a fastened mode; a sealing rubber strip is arranged between the curtain wall plate and the keel; and a rubber sinking groove used for preventing the sealing rubber strip from falling off is formed in the boss. The curtain wall system has the advantages of being stable and reliable in structure, high in strength, thin in product and attractive in appearance.
