The invention discloses a hollow plate beam replacement hinge joint connecting structure and a construction method thereof. The hollow plate beam replacement hinge joint connecting structure comprises an old secondary side plate beam and a new side plate beam. A strip-shaped steel plate with a triangular cross section is arranged at the bottom of a hinge joint between the old secondary side plate beam and the new side plate beam and serves as a mold; and UHPC materials are poured into the hinge joint. The old transverse connection steel bars of the old secondary side plate beams and the new transverse connection steel bars of the new side plate beams are in lap joint above the hinge joint, the UHPC materials are poured, and the old secondary side plate beams and the new side plate beams are connected into a whole. During construction, a chain saw is adopted to cut an old side plate beam needing to be dismantled, and concrete in a hinge joint is removed; after the new side plate beam is in place, the new transverse connection steel bars and the old transverse connection steel bars are in lap joint, and a bottom die is arranged at the bottom of the hinge joint; then, a bridge floor above the hinge joint is locally slotted; and finally, the UHPC materials are poured into the hinge joints and the local open grooves of the bridge floor. According to the method, the transverse connection steel bars of the new boss beam are in lap joint, traditional steel bar planting and welding operation is avoided, and the construction efficiency is improved.
