The novel shallow water silt remover comprises a rack, two stirring wheels, at least two travelling wheels, at least one steering wheel, a slurry conveying structure and a driving device, wherein the two stirring wheels are longitudinally arranged on the rack side by side, the two stirring wheels which are arranged in a spaced mode are opposite in rotation direction, a sludge gathering area is formed between the two stirring wheels, the at least two travelling wheels and the at least one steering wheel are arranged at the bottom of the rack, and the slurry conveying structure is arranged on the rack and used for conveying sludge gathered in the sludge gathering area to a target position, the driving device is arranged on the top of the rack and drives the stirring wheels to rotate, and the stirring wheels drive the travelling wheels to roll forwards through a transmission mechanism. The novel shallow water silt remover can travel underwater, so that it is possible for the silt remover to work in a shallow water area, and the silt removing capacity of the silt remover is greatly improved.
