The invention provides a sliding window, and relates to the technical field of windows. The sliding window comprises a window frame and a plurality of window sashes, wherein the window frame comprises an upper fixing assembly and a lower fixing assembly, and the lower fixing assembly comprises a lower fixing seat and a plurality of sliding rails arranged on the upper side wall of the lower fixing seat; the top of any window sash is slidably connected with the upper fixing assembly, and the bottom of any window sash is slidably arranged on the corresponding sliding rail; and one side of the upper side wall of the lower fixing seat is higher than the other side of the upper side wall of the lower fixing seat, and the side walls of the sliding rails and the upper side wall of the lower fixing seat are provided with drainage holes. The sliding window has the advantages that water can be conveniently discharged out of the sliding window, and the waterproof performance is good; a hidden drainage structure can be formed, and the attractiveness is improved; and glass is clamped, so that a traditional glass gluing fixing mode is avoided, and the installation of the glass is facilitated.
