The invention provides an automatic corner door opening and closing system for a public building, and relates to the field of automatic corner door opening and closing. The door opening and closing system comprises a four-connecting-rod structure composed of a connecting rod, a door leaf, an upper swing arm and a side rotating shaft, wherein one end of the connecting rod is connected with the door leaf through a support; the door leaf is connected with one end of the swing arm through a bearing shaft sleeve assembly of an upper connecting base; and the other end of the swing arm is connected with the side rotating shaft through a clamping screw. According to the door opening and closing system of the structure, opening and closing of the door opening and closing system do not interfere with the advancing and standing positions of pedestrians, the problem that an automatic vertical hinged door interferes with the standing positions of the pedestrians is solved, and the door opening and closing space is effectively saved.
