The invention relates to the technical field of comprehensive treatment of desulfurized gypsum, in particular to a gypsum powder production system and process. The system comprises a raw material bin, a rotary dryer, a fluidized bed furnace, a cooling heat exchanger, a ball mill and a powder bin which are sequentially connected, the discharging end of the rotary dryer is connected with the feeding end of a beater through a PU chain conveyor, the discharging end of the beater is connected with the feeding end of the fluidized bed furnace, and a homogenizing bin is further arranged between the ball mill and the powder bin; according to the process, through the processes of high-temperature pre-drying and medium-temperature calcination, the production system is high in heat efficiency, the product quality is good, meanwhile, the stability of the calcination process is guaranteed, and the problem of over-calcination or under-calcination is avoided; hard blocks possibly appearing in the drying and transporting process of the raw materials are scattered through scattering, so that the stability of the calcining procedure is facilitated; and through homogenization of the homogenization bin, the phase tends to be homogenized, so that the content of the semi-hydrated gypsum is increased, the physical properties of the gypsum powder are improved, and the product quality is improved.
