The invention provides an active bamboo charcoal plate capable of adsorbing and decomposing formaldehyde as well as a preparation method and an application of the active bamboo charcoal plate. The active bamboo charcoal plate is prepared from the following raw materials: 30 to 55 parts of nano-photocatalyst active bamboo charcoal powder, 3 to 8 parts of coconut shell activated carbon, 6 to 35 parts of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin, 5 to 20 parts of calcium carbonate, 0.1 to 0.4 part of a PVC foaming regulator, 0.4 to 0.9 part of a calcium-zinc stabilizer and 0.2 to 0.5 part of chlorinated polyethylene; wherein the average pore size of the nano-photocatalyst active bamboo charcoal powder is 1-2.5 nm, and the loading capacity of nano-scale titanium dioxide in the nano-photocatalyst active bamboo charcoal powder is 0.5-1.8 wt%. The active bamboo charcoal plate provided by the invention is excellent in formaldehyde adsorption and decomposition performance, can release negative ions and infrared rays, is high in hardness, is superior to a conventional bamboo charcoal plate in mechanical property, is simple and controllable in preparation process, adopts common and easily available raw materials, is low in price, can be used for manufacturing decoration plates such as cupboards, shoe cabinets, bathroom cabinets, floors and the like, and the practical application prospect is wide.
