The invention discloses an energy-saving roof based on solar illumination conversion, and relates to the technical field of energy-saving roofs. The energy-saving roof comprises a top plate, wherein two supporting columns are symmetrically and fixedly connected to the top of the top plate, the top ends of the two supporting columns are fixedly connected with the same cross beam, sleeves are fixedly connected to the two sides of the cross beam, rotating rods are rotationally connected in the two sleeves, plate frames are fixedly connected to one sides of the two rotating rods, transparent plates are fixedly connected to the inner walls of the two plate frames, and a plurality of uniformly distributed fixing holes are formed in the side parts of the two transparent plates. According to the energy-saving roof, a motor can drive the transparent plates to rotate upwards around the rotating rods, so that solar panels are driven to rotate together, and the other plate frame and the transparent plate are driven to rotate through two linkage gears which are meshed with each other on the same side, so that the angles of the solar panels on the two sides can be adjusted at the same time, and the maximum illumination effect can be obtained.
