The invention relates to a container type corridor for an elevator. The container type corridor comprises a main corridor, a building transition corridor, a first flat-layer home-entry corridor, a second flat-layer home-entry corridor, decorative wallboards and I-shaped steel beams. According to the container type corridor, the main corridor which is connected with an elevator shaft and the home-entry corridor which transitions to the home-entry floor are made into a container integrated structure, the whole corridor comprises the inner-layer preliminary decoration and can be prefabricated in a factory, and during construction, the corridor only needs to be transported to the site so as to be directly hoisted and fixedly spliced; and the installation and construction of the container type corridor are efficient and convenient, the construction progress can be effectively accelerated, additionally, a large amount of high-altitude construction operation on site is avoided, the construction safety is guaranteed, and the influence of site construction on surrounding residents is reduced.
