The invention discloses an independent smoking room for an office building, comprising a smoking room arranged at the edge of an office building floor. A mounting plate is arranged at the joint of the smoking room and the exterior of the office building; a plurality of transversely-arranged air inlet pipes are fixed to the outer side of the mounting plate at equal intervals; a cavity is formed in the mounting plate; the cavity communicates the air inlet pipes through air pipes; a vertically-arranged treatment channel is arranged in the cavity; the top of the treatment channel is connected with a smoke suction cover communicating the smoking room; a water drainage pipe is arranged at the inner bottom of the cavity; a liquid storage cavity is formed in the bottom of the mounting plate; an alcoholic solution is contained in the liquid storage cavity; two water absorption ropes are arranged in the treatment channel in a penetrating mode; and the upper ends of the two water absorption ropes are fixed to the inner wall of a smoking cover. According to the smoking room, smoke in the smoking room can be automatically sucked out, harmful ingredients in the smoke can be effectively absorbed, and finally the smoke is discharged out of the office building.
