The production method comprises the following steps: preparing calcium hexaluminate basic slurry, preparing balance slurry, preparing a blank and preparing the calcium hexaluminate fire-resistant heat-insulating material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: proportionally adding an aluminum-containing substance, a calcium-containing substance, water and a stabilizer into a ball mill, grinding for 1-6 hours to prepare calcium hexaluminate basic slurry, adding a coagulant and a coagulant into the basic slurry, performing uniform stirring, mixing with a foaming agent to prepare balanced slurry, pouring into a mold, standing for solidification, performing demolding, preparing a blank, performing drying, and performing sintering to prepare the calcium hexaluminate refractory heat-insulating material.
