The invention discloses an additive for a metallized sealing composite material. The additive comprises an SA auxiliary agent, terpilenol and ethyl cellulose, wherein a terpilenol solvent is prepared from the SA auxiliary agent and the terpilenol according to a weight ratio of 25: (60-90); the additive is prepared from the ethyl cellulose and the terpilenol solvent according to a weight ratio of (30-45): 1000; and the SA auxiliary agent is formed by mixing 45 to 70% of butyl carbitol, 10 to 30% of tributyl citrate, 7 to 15% of isobutanol and and 5-12% of castor oil. By developing the composite additive formed by mixing the terpilenol, the ethyl cellulose and the SA auxiliary agent, the fluidity and uniformity of silk-screen printing metal slurry are improved, and it is ensured that metal powder evenly and flatly coats a ceramic surface.
