The invention relates to a sidewalk, and in particular, relates to an environment-friendly sidewalk pavement structure convenient for drainage, wherein the environment-friendly sidewalk pavement structure comprises a roadbed; the roadbed is paved on the bottommost layer of a road, a gravel layer is paved on the roadbed, a water permeable brick layer and a soil layer are paved on the gravel layer, the soil layer is positioned on one side of the water permeable brick layer, and green plants are planted on the soil layer; a plurality of collecting boxes are pre-buried in the gravel layer, the upper sides of the collecting boxes are open, and the collecting boxes are distributed in the length direction of the road; water outlets are formed in the water permeable brick layer in the width direction of the water permeable brick layer and communicate with inner cavities of the collecting boxes; filter screens are fixed to the openings in the upper sides of the collecting boxes, and cleaning assemblies used for cleaning the filter screens are connected into the collecting boxes; and the soil layer is provided with a water pumping mechanism used for pumping out water in the collecting boxes and discharging the water into the soil layer. The pavement structure has the advantages that the drainage speed of the pavement is increased, stored water is recycled, and the environment-friendly concept of a sponge city is met.
