The invention discloses a drainage device for a city. The drainage device structurally comprises a water pipe, a connecting plate, an opening and closing machine and a control panel, wherein the left side of the water pipe and the right side of the connecting plate communicate with each other and are connected through electric welding, and the control panel is embedded into the top surface of the opening and closing machine. According to the drainage device, impact force generated by flowing of water flow is used for impacting a power fan to drive a crushing shaft to rotate, a throwing plate is enabled to move upwards through centrifugal force generated by rotation, large pressure is generated by impacting the ball, the ball is pushed upwards, air pressure in an outer push block is diffused towards the two sides, an opening plate is thrown out, a plurality of cutting heads on the opening plate are used for densely crushing leaves flowing into the drainage device, a pressing handle is pressed to be compressed downwards through the pressure of flowing water in the cutting process, dense vibration is generated with a shifting piece bin, then the cut leaves are washed away through vibration and impact of the flowing water, and the problem that the drainage device is blocked due to the fact that a large number of leaves are accumulated in the flowing-in liquid is effectively solved.
