The invention discloses an improved flexible direct-current transmission line tangent tower. The improved flexible direct-current transmission line tangent tower comprises a tower head and a tower body, wherein a left-side grounding electrode wire hanging point and a right-side grounding electrode wire hanging point are arranged on the two sides of the upper part of the tower head correspondingly and used for hanging a grounding electrode wire and a ground wire, the left grounding electrode wire hanging point and the right grounding electrode wire hanging point are correspondingly connected with a metal return wire through an anti-thunder insulator and an anti-icing flashover insulator, the metal return wire is suspended on the left side and the right side at the top of the tower head and is used as a return wire in a normal condition, and the metal return wire is used as the ground wire when the tangent tower is subjected to lightning stroke and discharges lightning. According to the improved flexible direct-current transmission line tangent tower, the metal return wire and the ground wire of the flexible direct-current line tangent tower can be combined, the height of the iron tower is greatly reduced, and the project investment of a flexible direct-current line is reduced.
