The invention discloses an ecological water storage tree pool capable of protecting the arbor rhizosphere. The ecological water storage tree pool comprises two tree pool modules which are symmetrically arranged and connected together; semicircular openings are formed in the middle of the joint of the two tree pool modules and jointly form a center hole; a landscape gabion is arranged on the bottommost layer of each tree pool module; agricultural rock wool is laid on each landscape gabion; planting soil is arranged on the agricultural rock wool; the arbor trunk penetrates through the central hole; and the arbor root system at the bottom of the arbor trunk is planted in the bottom soil. According to the invention, the adverse influence between megaphanerophytes and ground cover plants is changed, the connotation of the modules is enriched by applying the ecological water storage concept, and meanwhile the practicability is guaranteed as the tree pool is simple and easy to install; finished product processing and on-site installation are adopted, so that the construction cost is reduced; and the tree pool can be widely applied to various projects in a finished product form.
