The composite material comprises the following components: Portland cement, fly ash, quartz sand, polyvinyl alcohol fibers, water, a polycarboxylic acid type water reducing agent, super absorbent resin and light calcined magnesia, and the Portland cement and fly ash form a cementing material; the composite material comprises the following components in parts by mass: 1.00 part of Portland cement, 3.00 parts of fly ash, 0.02 part of water reducing agent, 0.016 part of super absorbent resin and 0.24 part of light calcined magnesia, wherein the water-binder ratio is 0.30, and the sand-binder ratio is 0.36; and by volume ratio, the polyvinyl alcohol fibers account for 0.02% of the total volume of the high-ductility cement-based composite material. The invention provides the high-ductility cement-based composite material, and the high-ductility cement-based composite material can quickly realize self-repairing in a natural environment, and has a self-healing mode which is higher in searching speed and better in effect.
