The invention relates to the field of steel pipe piles in building construction, in particular to a steel pipe column of an HPE hydraulic insertion cast-in-place pile. The steel pipe column comprises a column body arranged in a pile casing; the interior of the column body is of a hollow structure; the column body comprises a plurality of unit columns; a perpendicularity control device is arranged between every two adjacent unit columns; each perpendicularity control device comprises a plurality of limiting rings and a vertical rod; each limiting ring is fixedly connected with the interior of the column body; one end of each vertical rod is fixedly connected with the inner wall of the corresponding unit column, and the other end of each vertical rod is matched with each limiting ring of the adjacent unit column in an inserted mode; and a mounting device is arranged between every two adjacent unit columns. The steel pipe column has the effect that the splicing construction period of the steel pipe column is shortened.
