The invention relates to the field of municipal roads, and discloses a novel road protection inspection well lid. The novel road protection inspection well lid comprises an inspection well lid body, wherein a positioning base is fixedly arranged in a sewer on the lower side of the inspection well lid body, and positioning assemblies are arranged on the upper end face of the positioning base and in the inspection well lid body. According to the inspection well lid, through mutual cooperation of positioning bolt sleeves and positioning bolts, the inspection well lid body is firmly fixed to the ground and in the sewer, the situation that due to too large water flow, the inspection well lid body is impacted and deviates can be prevented, and the situation that pedestrians fall into the sewer due to the unknown road condition is prevented; meanwhile, through water flow impact force, a filter net and surrounding garbage are driven to rotate, filter net blockage can be effectively prevented, and discharging of road accumulated water is accelerated; a dustproof plate capable of ascending and descending is used for sealing a sealing cavity, and peculiar smell emission in the sewer can be reduced; and through cooperation of a water inlet channel and a flow discharging channel, an external fire source can be prevented from falling into the sewer, and then the sewer explosion event is avoided.
