According to the roof snow removing device, a second gear and a first gear which are meshed with each other are arranged on a winding roller and a pay-off roller respectively, and a movable plate driven by an electric telescopic rod is hinged to the bottom of the fixed box, so that on one hand, the same motor can be conveniently used for driving the winding roller and the pay-off roller to rotate at the same time, a protective layer is driven to be wound and spread, the structure is stable, and energy consumption is reduced; on the other hand, the electric telescopic rod with a pressure sensor is matched with the movable plate, so that the effect of adjusting the tension of a winding rope is achieved in the moving process of the protective layer, and the protective layer is kept tight; and in addition, the snow accumulation amount on the upper surface of the protective layer can be monitored in real time in the snow accumulation process, and the operation of the device can be controlled, so that potential safety hazards caused by manual operation are avoided, and the safety, timeliness and convenience of roof snow removal are greatly improved.
