According to the technical scheme, the retaining wall structure comprises a reinforced concrete wall body, a cap, a reinforced concrete hanging plate, a front row of foundation cast-in-place piles and a rear row of foundation cast-in-place piles, wherein the front row of cast-in-place piles are arranged on the water side; the rear row of cast-in-place piles are arranged on the shore side; the pile top elevations of the front row of foundation cast-in-place piles and the rear row of foundation cast-in-place piles are higher than the design elevation of a river bottom; the cap is positioned at the tops of the front row of foundation cast-in-place piles and the rear row of foundation cast-in-place piles; the reinforced concrete wall body is located above the water side of the cap; the water side of the front row of foundation cast-in-place piles is provided with the reinforced concrete hanging plate; the upper side of the reinforced concrete hanging plate is connected with the cap; and the bottom elevation of the reinforced concrete hanging plate is below the design elevation of the river bottom. The land acquisition and demolition amount after an existing river channel revetment is reduced to the maximum extent, and the engineering investment is saved.
