The invention provides a hydraulic aqueduct reinforcing method. The hydraulic aqueduct reinforcing method comprises the following steps that S001, the reduced area of the section of a rusted stressed steel bar in a hydraulic aqueduct is detected through an instrument; S002, the section area of the required carbon fiber cloth is calculated according to the reduced section of the stressed steel bar; S003, according to a hydraulic aqueduct construction drawing and an on-site reinforced building structure, a steel bar positioning line is released on the concrete base surface, and the concrete base surface is cleaned; S004, a special impregnating resin adhesive for carbon fibers is prepared, and the special impregnating resin adhesive for the carbon fibers is uniformly smeared on the positioned concrete base surface; S005, the carbon fiber cloth is pasted on the concrete base surface coated with the special impregnating resin adhesive for the carbon fibers; and S006, after the colloid is cured, a layer of impregnating resin is smeared on the surface of the carbon fiber cloth.
