The curved bottom barrier water taking structure comprises a water taking gallery arranged on a curved overflow weir body and a curved bottom barrier covering the position over the water taking gallery; the forming direction of the water taking gallery is perpendicular to the water flow direction; an outlet of the water taking gallery communicates with an external water diversion channel; and the barrier face of the curved bottom barrier is an arc face. According to the curved bottom barrier water taking structure, water taking of a curved weir dam can be achieved, and the problem that a water taking structure is prone to being blocked by floating objects and clamping stones, and consequently water taking cannot be achieved is solved.
