The invention provides an opening and closing type rainwater grate, and relates to an urban drainage system. The opening and closing type rainwater grate comprises a grate frame, which is provided with a vertically through mounting cavity; multiple fixed grid sections are horizontally arranged and mounted at the top end of the mounting cavity, the multiple fixed grid sections are sequentially arranged at intervals in the horizontal direction, and an interval used for draining water is formed between every two adjacent fixed grid sections; and multiple movable grid sections are horizontally arranged and mounted below the multiple fixed grid sections, the multiple movable grid sections are matched with multiple intervals in an aligned manner separately, the movable grid sections are used for sealing the intervals matched with the movable grid sections in the aligned manner, one end of each movable grid section is rotatably mounted on the grate frame, and the other end of each movable grid section can swing up and down and is detachably connected with the grate frame. By means of the opening and closing type rainwater grate, the situation that a rainwater collecting system is blocked can be reduced.
