The invention discloses an elevator for bridge detection. The elevator comprises a base and a supporting seat located at the top end of the base; a first side plate and a second side plate which are symmetrically arranged are arranged at the top end of the supporting seat; sliding grooves are formed in the two sides of the first side plate, the two sides of the second side plate and the two sides of the supporting seat correspondingly; a plurality of first ladder plate frames are evenly distributed between the first side plate and the second side plate; and limiting plates which are symmetrically arranged are arranged on a lead screw (24), and threaded grooves matched with the lead screw (24) are formed in a first moving block (25) and a second moving block (26) correspondingly. The elevator has the beneficial effects that the application range of the elevator can be conveniently enlarged, tools can be conveniently placed by workers, the size can be reduced during carrying, the working efficiency is improved, and using is convenient; the elevator is convenient to move, ladder plates can be conveniently mounted and dismounted, and the ladder plates can be conveniently dismounted to be cleaned or replaced; and through the design of a connecting mechanism, the length of the whole elevator is increased, and the purpose of convenient and fast operation is achieved.
