The invention relates to a construction temporary bridge and a construction method thereof. The construction temporary bridge comprises at least two shore piers vertically arranged on two sides of a river; a bracket which is fixed at the side part of the ashore pier; a plurality of horizontally arranged inhaul cables, wherein the two ends of the inhaul cables are fixed to the corresponding supports respectively; a plurality of horizontally arranged cross beams, wherein the cross beams are vertically arranged on the inhaul cables, and the cross beams are connected with the inhaul cables in a limiting mode; a bearing structure which is laid on the cross beams, and a bridge deck for passing is formed at the top of the bearing structure; a protective fence which is vertically fixed to the end, away from the shore pier, of the support; a horizontally arranged first protection cable, wherein the two ends of the first protection cable are fixed to the corresponding protective fences respectively; and a second protection cable which is horizontally arranged above the support, and the two ends of the second protection cable are fixed to the side portions of the corresponding ashore piers respectively. The structure of the construction temporary bridge is stable and firm, plays a role of a bridge, and is convenient to construct and convenient for subsequent disassembly.
