The invention relates to the technical field of fire hydrants, and discloses a fire hydrant capable of preventing a non-fire-fighting vehicle from taking water. The fire hydrant comprises a fire hydrant body, wherein a clamping water taking mechanism and an induction alarm mechanism are arranged on the outer side of the fire hydrant body; and the clamping water taking mechanism comprises a first water taking pipe, a second water taking pipe, an annular groove, a pressure sensor, a clamping cylinder, a fire fighting truck threaded connecting pipe and a fire fighting truck connecting hose. According to the fire hydrant, the annular groove and the pressure sensor are arranged in the water taking pipe, the clamping cylinder is arranged on the fire fighting truck threaded connecting pipe, after the clamping cylinder of the fire fighting truck is screwed into the annular groove, the clamping cylinder can abut against the pressure sensor, the pressure sensor can send a signal to a control computer, the control computer is used for controlling a water pump to be opened, and water is supplied to the fire fighting truck.
