The invention discloses an adjustable multifunctional bookcase. The bookcase comprises a bookcase body, a sliding column is slidably connected to the interior of the bookcase body, a supporting frame is fixedly connected to the bottom of the sliding column, a cavity is formed in the supporting frame, and a threaded rod is in threaded connection to the interior of the bookcase body; the bottom of the threaded rod extends into the cavity and is fixedly connected with a first bevel gear, the outer wall of the threaded rod is rotationally connected with the supporting frame through an arranged bearing, the threaded rod is in transmission connection with a second bevel gear through the arranged first bevel gear, and the outer wall of the second bevel gear is fixedly connected with a rotating shaft. The rocker rotates to drive the bookcase body to ascend or descend, and the position is adjusted; and when a user needs to read or work, the position of the bookcase body can be adjusted to be high, so that books can be taken conveniently without an external ladder or stool, the user only needs to rotate the rocker to adjust the height of the bookcase body, and the risk that the user falls down easily when going up to and fro is avoided.
