The invention relates to a material transport vehicle for housing construction. The material transport vehicle comprises a base, a plurality of universal wheels are arranged on the lower end face of the base, a containing box is installed at the upper end of the base, the interior of the containing box is hollow, an opening is formed in the upper end of the containing box, a containing disc used for containing materials is rotationally connected to the bottom wall of the containing box; a plurality of partition plates are arranged on the upper end face of the containing disc in the circumferential direction at intervals, a feeding port is formed in the outer side wall of the containing box, a connecting shaft is connected with the center of the upper end face of the containing disc in the vertical direction, a fixing assembly used for limiting rotation of the connecting shaft is arranged at the upper end of the containing box, and a handle is arranged on the outer side wall of the containing box. When materials are carried, the materials are placed on the containing disc in the containing box through the feeding port, the upper end face of the containing disc can be divided into different areas through the partition plates, and therefore different materials can be conveniently placed and taken, and the construction efficiency is improved.
