The invention discloses an alternative bay construction method applied to an underground reclaimed water plant. The alternative bay construction method is used for construction of the underground reclaimed water plant and comprises the following steps that a bottom plate and/or a top plate and/or a side wall are/is constructed through an alternative bay construction method, the overall structure of the underground reclaimed water plant is segmented according to construction joints, one segment is poured every other segment, and after a certain period of time, the overall structure of the underground reclaimed water plant is formed through filling pouring. The alternative bay construction method is applied to the underground reclaimed water plant, and the serious problem that in the prior art, leakage happens to expansion joints due to multiple permanent expansion joints or a post-cast strip method construction manner, and consequently the underground reclaimed water plant cannot meet the engineering requirement can be effectively solved.
