The invention relates to an energy dissipation device based on compressive yield or buckling deformation control and an operating method, and belongs to the field of seismic resistance of constructional engineering structures. The energy dissipation device comprises a shell, a piston, a push-pull rod, a reset mechanism and thin steel sheets, wherein the piston is arranged in the shell, the push-pull rod is connected to one side of the piston and extends out of the shell, the reset mechanism is connected to the other side of the piston, and the thin steel sheets are connected to both sides of the piston and are used as energy dissipation elements; the end of the thin steel sheet on one side of the piston is abutted with the shell, and the end of the thin steel sheet on the other side of the piston is abutted with an upper limiting baffle which is fixedly connected to the interior of the shell; and when an earthquake occurs, the thin steel sheets can be pressed to yield or bend so as to reduce the earthquake action input to a wood framework, and the reset mechanism can generate pulling force or pressure to reset the thin steel sheets. The energy dissipation device is installed at the included angle of a beam-column connecting joint of the wood framework, and the purposes of energy dissipation, shock absorption, lateral displacement reduction and prevention of large deformation and even collapse are achieved. All components can be replaced, and machining, construction, installation and the like are easy; and the material source is wide, the cost is low, and wide popularization is facilitated.
本发明涉及一种基于受压屈服或屈曲变形控制的耗能装置及工作方法,属于建筑工程结构抗震领域。该耗能装置包括壳体、设于壳体内的活塞、连接于活塞一侧并伸出壳体外的推拉杆、连接于活塞另一侧的复位机构,以及连接于活塞两侧的作为耗能元件的薄钢片;活塞一侧的薄钢片端部与壳体相抵,活塞另一侧的薄钢片端部与固连于壳体内的上限位挡板相抵;在地震时,薄钢片能够受压屈服或屈曲以减少输入至木构架的地震作用,复位机构能够产生拉力或压力使薄钢片复位。该耗能装置安装在木构架梁柱连接节点夹角处,达到消能减震、降低侧移量、防止大变形甚至倒塌的目的。各个部件可更换,加工、施工、安装等较为简单;材料来源广泛,造价低廉,适于广泛推广。
