The invention relates to a laminated wood beam extension joint. The laminated wood beam extension joint is characterized by comprising a connecting piece, a first wood component (1) and a second wood component (2), wherein the first wood component (1) and the second wood component (2) are connected through the connecting piece; the connecting piece comprises an inner filling plate (3) and a side panel (4); the inner filling plate (3) is embedded in the first wood component (1) and the second wood component (2); and the side panel (4) wraps the surface of a joint area of the first wood component (1) and the second wood component (2). Compared with the prior art, the tension capacity of the wood components in the cross grain direction can be remarkably improved, cross grain splitting damage which is prone to occurring when the joint is bent is effectively relieved, and the stability and bearing capacity of the joint are improved.
