The upper part of the tensioning mechanism is a first connecting column, and the lower part of the tensioning mechanism comprises a second connecting column; a first baffle and a second baffle are arranged on the upper end face and the lower end face of the second connecting column in the circumferential direction of the second connecting column correspondingly; the periphery of the second connecting column is movably sleeved with a limiting ring; the upper end face and the lower end face of the limiting ring abut against the first baffle and the second baffle correspondingly; a first arc-shaped convex block is arranged on the periphery of the second connecting column in the circumferential direction; the other side of the first arc-shaped convex block is connected with the periphery of the second connecting column through a first inclined face; a first groove is formed in the end, connected with the first inclined face of the first arc-shaped convex block, of the second connecting column; a second arc-shaped convex block suitable for being embedded into the first groove is arranged on the inner wall, corresponding to the limiting ring, of the first groove; and a through opening is formed in the end, away from the second arc-shaped convex block, of the limiting ring. The tensioning mechanism is simple in structure, the flagpole is easy to fix after being stretched out and drawn back, and operation is easy.
