The invention discloses a fairing opening and closing device and a front nose assembly of a railway vehicle, and belongs to the technical field of railway vehicles. The fairing opening and closing device comprises a base, a left pivot arm, a right pivot arm, a left swing arm, a right swing arm and a driving device with a mechanical automatic locking function, wherein the driving device comprises a pushing part and a manual remote operation assembly and/or a manual remote unlocking assembly; the front end of the manual remote operation assembly acts on the pushing part, and the rear end of the manual remote operation assembly is arranged corresponding to a cab of the railway vehicle and is used for remotely and manually opening and/or closing the fairing in the cab; and the manual remote unlocking assembly is used for manually unlocking the driving device and comprises a manual operation end at least partially arranged corresponding to a cab, and the manual operation end is used for remotely completing the unlocking operation in the cab. According to the fairing opening and closing device, the fairing can be remotely and manually operated in a cab.
