The invention provides a novel elastic steel rope guardrail. The novel elastic steel rope guardrail comprises an elastic steel rope, a first fixing device and a second fixing device. The first fixing device comprises a first shell, a slidable steel plate, a first fixing piece and a left-right force equalizing device, and the left-right force equalizing device comprises a first spring and a first connecting piece. The second fixing device comprises a second shell and a front-back force equalizing device, and the front-back force equalizing device comprises two second springs, an O-shaped ring, an upper limiting piece and a lower limiting piece. The first fixing device can depend on the first spring, the elastic steel rope and a slidable steel plate to form triple uniform force protection, and the stress in the axis direction of the elastic steel rope is balanced. The O-shaped ring and the second springs of the second fixing device form double-layer uniform force protection, and the stress in the radial direction of the elastic steel rope is balanced. Reflective paint with direction arrows is added to the top of the first fixing device and the top of the second fixing device, so that a driver is reminded to drive, and meanwhile a pointing function can be achieved.
