The invention discloses a carbon fiber wound crucible and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing a mold; preparing an adhesive; impregnating carbon fibers; preparing a first blank of a carbon fiber wound crucible; curing the first blank of the carbon fiber wound crucible; carbonizing the second blank of the carbon fiber wound crucible; carrying out dipping-carbonizing on the second blank of the carbon fiber wound crucible; graphitizing the second crucible blank wound by the carbon fibers; carrying out machining; and coating. According to the technical scheme, wound carbon fibers are used as a crucible reinforcing phase, so that the strength advantage of carbon fibers is fully played, and the service life of the crucible is prolonged; the winding efficiency is high, wherein two crucibles are combined for winding, and two crucible blanks can be obtained through winding; and the carbon/carbon composite material crucible prepared through the method is stable in structure, the density is larger than or equal to 1.2 g/cm<3> after one-time carbonization, the interlayer bonding strength is high, and the preparation period is short.
