The indoor fire hydrant comprises door plates, wherein a limiting block is fixed at the top end of the surface of one side of each door plate; an opening is formed in each limiting block; a locking mechanism is arranged on the inner wall of the top end of a fire hydrant box; the locking mechanism comprises two locking boxes; the two locking boxes are fixed on the inner wall of the top end of the fire hydrant box; a through hole is formed in each locking box; a sliding groove is formed in each locking box; a special-shaped sliding block is connected in a groove body of each sliding groove in a sliding manner; a limiting hook is fixed on one side of each special-shaped sliding block; and the surface of the top end of each limiting hook is propped against the surface of the bottom end of the corresponding limiting block. According to the indoor fire hydrant, the locking mechanism is matched with a fire hydrant door, the limiting hooks on the special-shaped sliding blocks are driven to slide in guide grooves obliquely formed in the side walls of the sliding grooves, so that the limiting hooks slide back to the bottom ends to contact the limitation of the limiting blocks, and the fire hydrant box is opened.
