The invention discloses a charging device, a charging cover control device, a charging system and a related method. The method comprises the steps that: a first control instruction is generated when a charging device receives a starting instruction, the first control instruction is encrypted,and the encrypted first control instruction is transmitted to the charging cover control device; the charging cover control device receives the first control instruction, decrypts the first control instruction, and verifies identity information in the first control instruction; and when the identity information is successfully verified, a charging cover is driven to be opened. Through encryption communication between the charging device and the charging cover control device, the charging cover can be automatically controlled to be automatically opened, redundant actions of manually operating the charging cover are omitted, and greater convenience and quickness are realized. Before the charging cover is controlled to be opened, the charging cover control equipment can identify the identity of the charging equipment, and the charging cover can be opened only when the identity is successfully verified, so that the potential safety hazard caused by the fact that any charging equipment randomly charges the electric vehicle can be avoided.
