The invention provides a preparation method of concrete prepared from iron tailing micro-powder activated by a combined iron tailing functional material. The concrete is prepared from the following materials: activated iron tailing micro-powder, iron tailing superfine sand, iron tailing fine sand, iron tailing medium sand, iron tailing coarse sand, cement, stone, water and a concrete water reducing agent; after iron is removed from the iron tailings, the iron tailings are screened and separated into iron tailings coarse sand, medium sand, fine sand and super-fine sand according to the particle size, and the iron tailings fine sand and the super-fine sand are taken to be mixed with a combined iron tailings functional material to be activated to obtain activated iron tailings micro powder; the activated iron tailing micro powder and the other raw materials are mixed and stirred evenly, then pouring is carried out, curing is carried out under the standard curing condition, and then demolding is carried out. The iron tailing micropowder activated by the combined iron tailing functional material is used for partially replacing materials such as cement and fly ash used in concrete production in a relatively high proportion, so that the utilization rate of the iron tailings is increased, the raw material cost is reduced, and the economic development is promoted while the environment is protected.
